Workshop Objectives:

Schedule Outline

1. Introduction 

  • Brief discussion on the importance of bread in different cuisines.
  • Overview of the types of breads to be covered (e.g. pittas, flatbreads, naan bread)

2. Bread Types and Pairing Discussion 

  • Presentation on different types of breads:
    • Pitta bread
    • Naan bread
    • Flatbreads
    • Crostini and croutons
  • Discuss the best dishes to accompany each type.

3. Hands-On Bread Making  

  • Learn how to make and bake each type of bread

4. Tasting and Pairing 

  • Taste the breads made during the demonstration.
  • When to include each type of bread in a menu.

Course notes and lunch will be provided.
